Room Amenities

Amenities in all rooms include:

• Ceiling fans and air-conditioners are installed in each room; although you’ll find that with the cooling winds blowing in, thanks to the Catamaran Hotel’s excellent ventilation, you may not need them.
• Our kitchenettes are fully-equipped with refrigerator, coffee maker, toaster, stove, pots, pans, cutlery, and china for your convenience.
• Cable TV, hairdryer, and clock radio, meanwhile, are installed for your greater comfort.
• Iron/Ironing boards available on request.

• Securing valuables in the Catamaran Hotel Strong Boxes make for a more carefree holiday. A small fee is required. Ask for the key at the reception desk.

Marina

Falmouth is a seafaring community and Catamaran Hotel, whose owners have well-traveled sea legs, is at the heart of it all. The hotel marks the spot for sailors seeking temporary moorings or land lubbers with an interest in the sea.

The Catamaran Hotel sits alongside the Catamaran Marina, which offers secure berthing facilities in pleasant, quiet, and peaceful surroundings. The bonus is that both Marina and Hotel are a stone’s throw by dinghy or car from Antigua’s yachting hubs, English Harbour and Nelson’s Dockyard.

The Catamaran Marina can accommodate 30 boats stern-to and 12 boats alongside; and also has 15 slips for sports fishing vessels. A 15.5’ channel all the way to the dock can easily accommodate a maximum draft of 151. Boats up to 200’ are welcomed. Neighbouring Falmouth Harbour Marina, meanwhile, along the English Harbour main road, provides berthing facilities for mega-yachts – with dockage for vessels up to 330' with a draft of up to 20' both stern-to and alongside.

Both facilities are a yachtsman’s delight. For those up for an extended weekend of excellent fishing and great parties – and who isn’t – the Catamaran Marina’s Annual Sports Fishing Tournament will prove highly entertaining. Falmouth Harbour, meanwhile, has attracted high profile, year round events; ranging from the Antigua Race Week to the Classic Yacht Regatta to the Nicholson Charter Boat show, and many more.

Local Amenities

While Falmouth takes you away from the crush of the city, it doesn’t rob you of its conveniences. Within walking distance of the Catamaran Hotel, you’ll find a well-stocked supermarket for your cooking and toiletry needs, an ice cream parlour and cake shop for your sweet tooth; even a florist.

For the adventurous, there is even more to discover; three or four dollars in the local currency will buy you a bus ride right into the thick of things at Antigua’s main city, St. John’s.
